MeLo Space ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the MeLo Space app and website.
We collect the account details you provide, such as your name and email address, and the content you create in the app, such as spaces, expenses, trips, and location notes. If you enable notifications, we store a device token to deliver push messages.
We use your information to provide and maintain the service, sync your shared spaces across members, send transactional emails and notifications you request, and keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only with members of spaces you join, and with service providers that help us operate the app (such as email delivery and map services), strictly to provide the service.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from account settings, which removes your personal data, subject to shared-ledger records that other members rely on.
You can access, correct, or delete your personal information from within the app. You may also disable notifications and location features at any time through your device settings.
To delete your MeLo Space account, sign in and go to Settings, then open the "Danger zone" section and choose "Delete account". You will be asked to re-enter your password (or confirm your email) to proceed. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data, including your personal space, expenses, schedules, location notes and friendships. Shared-ledger records that other members still rely on are retained so their accounting stays intact. Backups are purged within 30 days. If you need help, contact us at [email protected].
